The community of Soweto has held a prayer service for brutally murdered 21-year-old Phuthi Ramara.
Ramara’s body was found dumped at a playground in Protea Glen Extension 31 on Monday.
She had been raped and strangled with her pants.
MMC for Community Development in the City of Johannesburg, Margaret Sheron Arnolds, was among high-level guests at the memorial service.
Ramara’s family is hoping for justice.
It has said it has put its trust in the police to apprehend the suspects.
Ramara and her cousins had apparently gone out the night before her body was found dumped.
Her family suspects that the men they had been chilling with on Sunday might provide clues to the murder. – Report by Jozi FM’s Moshe Maswanganyi
