9 people perish on Limpopo roads over weekend
Five people have died after two cars and a truck collided on the N1 South near the Modimolle off-ramp in Limpopo.
Authorities say the Ford Kuga had a tyre burst and lost control.
It then collided with a Suzuki Sedan, which crashed into the truck leading it to overturn.
The accident brings the Limpopo weekend road death toll to nine.
The other four fatalities happened in Vhembe, Sekhukhune and Waterberg districts, respectively.
